Terry joined our church staff on June 1, 2010. He brings to our community of faith a commitment
to and understanding of liturgical music as well as the ability to perform a wide range of musical
styles. He is well suited to and deeply appreciative of the musical qualities of our "Water Organ,"
which he described as a well tailored glove that fits him perfectly.

He was born in Texas and grew up in eastern Pennsylvania. He studied organ performance and
received his bachelor's degree in Music from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Between
1988 and 1991 he studied at the Juilliard School in NYC. For more than eighteen years, Terry
served in a variety of positions at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York, beginning as
Interim Organist in 1988 and serving from 1990 to early 2007 as Organist and Assistant
Choirmaster. He has worked with both professional and volunteer choirs and alongside some of
the premier church music directors in New York. From April 2007 until joining us, he was
Associate Organist and Director of Communications at the First Congregational Church of
Greenwich, Connecticut.

Terry is committed to the development of a "musical program that teaches music to the youngest
members of the church through adulthood."
